Warren founded IES and is a Principal Engineer and Managing Director with over 25 years of experience in the design, analysis, construction, commissioning and daily maintenance of upstream and downstream oil and gas facilities He has developed unique, innovative solutions determined for a wide variety of problems, including: pressure vessel inspection and integrity issues, bolted joints, sub-sea ROV tooling and dynamic vibration analysis of piping systems.
He has a high level of ability in pressure vessel design, Fitness-For-Service and Finite Element Analysis. Additionally, experienced in mechanical design and operation from a practical perspective, with demonstrated ability in plant maintenance, project management, inter-discipline design, teamwork and team leadership.
Warren is the author of over 60 papers, welding research council bulletins and research publications. He is an ASME Fellow and member of ASME and AS1210 committees for design and post-construction operation of fixed equipment
